We address the On-line video (both B2C and UGC - User Generated Content) market, the broadcast media tracking market and the multimedia social networks. Our Primary Product is a Versatile Multimodal Video Search Engine IP, for: online video sharing viral services, multimedia search engines, desktop or online video editing software, video processing chip manufacturers. ViSS offers its core technology as a RESTful API (named ViSSAPI), providing the set of functions for video indexing and video search. mooVimee is our online cloud and social demonstrator of our innovative technology, enabling facebook users to upload, edit, retrieve and share with friends their favorite videos.

ViSS emerged from the relentless urge of a university professor and an engineer entrepreneur to apply cross-disciplinary know-how to solve problems in a contemporary way. The first attempt was to apply video compression techniques for video identification and fast video search. This first attempt was soon successful and ViSS was established in 2008 with a mission to provide top-notch technology and products for the solution of complex and computationally intensive problems in the areas of video and multimedia processing.
ViSS' innovative technology was applied for patent in 2008. In 2009, ViSS secured seed financing which allowed the expansion of the team with both technologists and entrepreneurs. Also in 2009, the first "video-on-video" technology proof-of-concept demonstrator was introduced. In 2010, ViSS launched the "moovimee" social video site in an attempt to offer internet users a place to interact via visual media with the same flexibility and search-ability as text. ViSS continues to expand it's technology offerings, aiming to offer "video-on-video" search in any computing environment and human activity. In parallel, it develops similarly blazing-fast search solutions for other types of media, targeting a trully multi-modal, multimedia search technology.
