ViSS offers its core technology as an API (Application Programming Interface), either for Desktop applications as C/C++ libraries, or as a RESTful API, providing the required set of functions for video indexing and video search. ViSS with this API introduces to the video industry and community a new, ultra-fast, patent applied, stream based, multimodal video search engine, with an innovative method for characterizing (fingerprinting) video segments. This API enables fast creation of fingerprint database (indexing functionality) and fast video retrieval in the video repository (search functionality). The RESTful API if a set of GET URLs, while the Desktop API is a set of C/C++ functions, easily integrated to C/C++ custom applications.

About mooVimee
mooVimee is our online cloud and social demonstrator of our innovative technology. This platform will enable facebook users to upload, edit, retrieve and share with friends their favorite videos.

ViSS is introducing a new, ultra-fast, patent applied, stream based, video search engine, with an innovative method for characterizing (fingerprinting) video segments. In fact, fingerprint relates to “video flow” and not pictures. The methodology enables fast creation of the fingerprint database (index).
Moreover, the methodology provides small database size that enables extremely fast search: a six seconds video clip searched in a six hundred hours video pool, can be retrieved in less than six seconds with a modest PC!
The search system is a modular search engine providing multiple video tagging alternatives: video segment itself, text tagging, even audio identification.
The core technology provides the following solutions:
* No need for metadata or other user input.
* Performance of “identity” or “close-match” search in real time.
* Search is immune to: Audio dubbing, Subtitling, Logo insertion, other modifications (e.g. scaling, transcoding)
